[K-DRAMA REVIEW] - God Of Study

I, Now devote my time for you people to blog about this Korean Drama that I've recently [about a few minutes ago] finished watching! 

As you can see, the title is, 'God of Study',  'Master of Study', 'Lord of Study.'

I heard it was originally a Japanese manga named, 'Dragon Zakura' made back in 2005, woah!
[Checking it out soon].

                 
First of all, Let's start it off with the drama from my point of view.

When first viewing the drama, you notice a very determined and rash lawyer named Kang Suk Ho (Played by Kim Soo Ro) taking on the job of eliminating Byung Moon High school known for having  problematic students and named as a 'Rubbish, Toliet school.'

However, visiting the school, meanwhile walking in the corridors, he has second thoughts about eliminating the high school, thinking back to to childhood where he once studied in the very same school he was currently walking in, He gets a boost of manning up to helping teach these students with no dreams of the future and marches right up to the School's director, Jang Ma Ri and challenges her to a duel (Yu-Gi-Oh!), Just joking, but anyway, he somewhat ends up talking her into signing an agreement, letting him do anything he wants to the school.

Proving that the school is worth to keep, otherwise being demolished by a group of men who wants to get rid of the school for the sake of the citizens living inside the city/town who were complaining.

He creates a 'Special Class' inside the school, which contains five students, bluntly the worst five students in the school who were at the bottom of exam rankings and drags an awesome english teacher into this and makes her the homeroom teacher after she lost a bet with him.

Surprise, Surprise. Of course, he then gets all the students to participate in crazy things such as Study Camps, interactions with a Dramatic English teacher, Paranoid Science teacher, Charismatic Korean Language Teacher and an Aggressive Math teacher.

Although, all of the students, Baek Hyun, Hyun Jung, Pullp, Chan Doo, Bong Goo, at first, especially Baek Hyun, finds the idea of Kang Suk Ho trying to make them study hard to get into Korea's top university extremely bizarre and out of the world, they eventually go with the idea.

Through a long emotional drive, the drama ended with a clash and a bang, Three students successfully got into high-priority universities and the other two persuaded their dreams of dancing and art.

During this drama, there was also very obvious hints of romance between Baek Hyun + Pullp, Hyun Jung + Baek Hyun and Chan Doo + Pullp, a forking love triangle towards Pullp. Though, the drama ended without any re-mentioning of any of the pairings, I personally support Baek Hyun + Pullp but Chan Doo is still a cool dude ;w; don't hate me, Chan Doo!

The least appealing romance was probably between that other teacher, -can't remember his name- with Han Soo Jung, the english teacher. Very awkward, If you ask me. And the romance between Jang Ma Ri and Kang Suk Ho was extremely strange to me, though I reckon the love with one-sided from Ma Ri since Suk Ho and Soo Jung seemed like each other -or maybe it's just me- .

I can't even pick a favorite character from this drama ;w;

Overall, the drama was well-made, the actors were good in my opinion, the settings were at very relate-able places and the plot was forking excellent.

My First Anime Gaming Experience

Does this title look familiar to you? 

Some of you might have played the game, watched the Anime OR even read the manga. 

Yes people, This is the one and only - Togainu No Chi.

I do not advise immature audiences to play this - though I am one myself. You have been warned. LOL.

Togainu has a very unique and exciting plot that includes packed action, romance [in the case of the game], and a lot more suspenseful shit, you know it. You are allowed to pick between the characters included in the game to match up with Akira [The Main Character] and each of them has a variety of different personalities. 

So Far, I Did, Keisuke's Path, Rin's Path & I am currently doing Shiki's Paths.

Pulled Out An Old Story For You Guys! - Seriously Don't Laugh At My Grade Fived Self, Yuh? LOL

“All books are judged by their covers until they are read.” 

“Hey You, Do our work will you?” spoke the cutesy sick voice of a beautiful girl; too bad her personality was seemingly ugly.

I watched from the corner of my eye as the boy named as a nerd shoved the pile of books directly onto the floor from the tall science table and raised my eyebrows in interest. It was not every single day that you’d see a nerdy kid have a backbone in situations involving rich girls and boys who have no time to do their school work because they’re too busy having hangovers.

Me?  Well, I was assumed to be part of what they’d call the ‘popular’ or ‘rich’ group in this private school; though it had nothing to do with me and I was only in there because of my parent’s successful jobs and brother’s fame.

To say that I’m bitchy is a massive understatement, if you saw how disgusting our school was in regards of good behaviour and manners; you’d be shocked and left gaping in the entrance of the school grounds.
 I guess some people have reasons to act like that; others just do it for fun.

So what came to my attention a couple of days ago was the new transfer student; apparently he first arrived at our school a couple of months ago but never came to school until now.

What strikes me about him was the messy coal black hair that was gathered in spikes and his long straight bangs covering about half of his facial features. Nobody has ever seen the colour of his eyes; it was always hidden behind those thick round glasses he always kept on and he had the skin colour of pale snow.

He never really had to participate in anything at school either; it was like the teachers were bowing down a pathway for him to step across.

Strange

Suddenly the shrill and loud noise of the school bell had rung for the end of school and crowds of students stood up quickly and scurried away like mice in their own personal conversations outside in the corridors.
I slowly closed my notebook and placed my textbook along with the notebook into my shoulder bag; which was my replacement for a school bag. As I zipped up the bag, I noticed the boy creep slowly outside the door as if planning to leave for somewhere in secret.

This roused up my interest as I glanced at him leave the room until he quickly slipped out of the classroom and made for a run down the right corner of the corridors; so I followed.  Don’t get me wrong; I don’t usually stalk people in my school looking like a paedophile or rapist, in fact this was a first, stalking people I meant; not the part about me being a paedophile or rapist.

I tailed along behind him until stopped in front of an unfamiliar room inside the school that he had just entered. Did this room even exist?  Attending this school for five years sure hasn’t helped.

My hand moved down the dark grey door until it reached the door knob and I stopped to think if opening the door would be the smarter option or taking a quick glint from the windows.

While my mind was processing my brilliant brainstorm inside my head, I heard a soft tune flow from the inside of the room. I perked up at this and leaned over to place my head against the door to see if I was just getting paranoid from standing outside for so long; I was wrong, there was really an upbeat and addictive melody being played inside the room.

Forgetting the existence of invasion plans, I opened the door and closed it behind me; I froze at the scene in front of me.

The sky outside in the afternoon was pale red and vivid orange colour, contrasting with the white and fluffy clouds floating gently as if the best of friends; the windows ripped open, letting whirls of wind tumble forward into the room and positioned inside the middle of the spacious classroom the boy held a golden brown acoustic guitar in his hands, his movements were slick and careful and it enchanted me to watch him play the instrument.

He was absorbed into producing the complicated composition and did not notice me, so I slipped back outside the room.

It was the most radiant thing that I saw in my five years in school and I could not help but remember the day I first truly understood the meaning to admire someone for something they lived for.

How his mouth curled up into a light smile, his shoulders softened and relaxed, his legs flung carelessly hanging off the side of the table he was sitting on, the way his hair waved swiftly side to side as the wind blew inside the room and how his fingers strummed the strings of his guitar.

I was bewitched by the alluring and mysterious boy in my grade.

Eternity - The First Prototype Snippet

'You, a female insist on becoming the leader of this group?'
'What's so bad about that? You're a female yourself.'
'You are not qualified.'

The girl ripped her sleeve apart and slid it up to show a deeply inked snake tattoo circling around the tanned skin of her left wrist.

A girl walked swiftly into a small but clean looking game store at the corner of a street near her apartment.


 The store consisted of many rows of video games in different prototypes in slick wooden shelves and cupboards. There was one special column of shelves dedicated to a brand new prototype of games, it was named the Sensory Prototypes that allowed the player to transport their mind and being into the actual game itself. However it came with servere consequences that made itself clear that only boys and girls above the age of eighteen were allowed to purchase the games in this section of game stores. 


She messed up her hair and  pulled up the grey hood of her jacket over her head hoping to hide most of her younger facial features and grabbed the first game on the shelf. She placed the DVD onto the cashier desk and rummaged around her wallet, grabbing a few bundles of notes and shoved it hastly onto the desk. 



The man at the cashier gave her a cautious stare but swipped the DVD across the barcode scanner.
The machine beeped and displayed the price.
He flicked through the bundle of notes and shook his head in disapproval, as he lifted his head up to look at the customer, only to find the game missing and the glass doors completely shut. 

The girl yawned as she stretched her arms over her head and gently shut the door of her small flat. She glanced briefly down at the DVD she gripped in her hands and smoothed out the shiny plastic cover, 'Eternity - First Game Prototype'.


 A smile etched onto her face as she walked over to her computer. 


She opened up the disk drive and placed the DVD in as she sat down on a black chair.


'Loading...' flashed the word over the desktop of her computer screen. 


Staring once again at the strange empty black background of her DVD case excluding the title, she slid down her chair and closed her eyes for a small nap. 

'Welcome.'
